Episode 407 - The Nik Nak
                McCoy
                The real McCoy...
Another type of ceramic favourite that I found during my day of antiquing at the flea market was a McCoy planter. Produced in the United States in the 1930's, McCoy pottery is recognized for its beautiful glazes, such as pink, green, and a whole spectrum of other colours.

This pink McCoy planter pot, with an attached oasis on it is available in various sizes from tiny to large. Fill it with herbs, put it on your windowsill and collect all kinds of different colours. They also make great gifts. The hallmark should be quite legible on the bottom of each piece so that you can rest assured that you are purchasing the real McCoy.
